How is the Navajo Indian nation organized? The Navajos live on a reservation, which is land that belongs to them and is under their control. Today, they are members of the Colorado River Indian Tribes of the Colorado River Indian Reservation, which is made up of Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi and Navajo peoples.
